Air Atlanta (US): An American passenger airline based in Atlanta, Georgia, that operated a short-lived but noteworthy service from 1984 to 1987. It was the first U.S. airline to be largely owned by African-Americans and famously offered a premium, first-class experience for all passengers. Despite its innovative model, the airline struggled financially and ultimately ceased operations.
